When translated from French to English, “Ordre des Arts et des Technologies” means “Order of Arts and Technologies”. This Order was established just a couple months ago, on 20 March 2010, with the purpose is the recognition of significant contributions to the technological arts, or the propagation of these fields. The initial conceptualization of the Order was a sketch of the three grades of the order – Commandeur, Officier, and Chevalier; around a bitcoin table; referencing the knights of the round table.
Honors for Technology and Science
Crypto Chain University founded earlier this year in February, is the leading non-profit research-only institute, focused on the public policy issues facing blockchain, cryptocurrency and decentralized computing technologies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The University, established in 2010, is one the oldest academic institution for research and education of Crypto and Blockchain in the world, and has a database and following of thousands of followers since its founding in 2010.
Knighthood for Technology and Science – Rankings
It is of the highest honors when a recipient is invited into the Order, which is an exclusive by-invite-only, to join as a member, starting off as being knighted as a Chevalier. After which, the honoree may get promoted to the next grades of Officier and Commandeur thereafter.
Awards for Technology and Science
Recipients are granted the exclusive rights to possess and don the médaille of the Order, which features the University’s arms, surrounded by a golden ring bearing the words “Ordre des Arts et des Technologies”.
