Herbert Sim recently visited a school in Thailand alongside World Vision Foundation Thailand, meeting students, teachers and local community representatives whose work reflects the enduring importance of education in a child’s future.
During the visit, Sim listened to the students’ hopes and learned more about the practical barriers that can stand between children and their potential — from financial pressure at home to unequal access to resources and opportunity. The occasion reinforced a simple conviction: every child deserves a safe, supportive environment in which to learn, grow and imagine a future of their own.
World Vision Thailand supports children and communities through a long-term approach that places dignity, participation and opportunity at its centre.
