Last afternoon, Herbert Sim had a coffee catchup with Su Min Sng, Head of Communications, GRAB.
Su Min shared with Herbert, about the latest statistics, according to TNS, a global market research firm, in Singapore, more than half (53%) of consumers surveyed use Grab’s services most often, compared to another ride-hailing application with only 24% of consumers using them more often. The remaining 22% of consumers use the taxi-booking application of a traditional taxi operator most often.
And also about GRAB’s latest updates: Grab launches the new GrabRewards, SEA’s largest loyalty programme; the launch of GrabPay e-wallet, and how that is being received.
In case you missed Herbert’s earlier article on Huffington Post entitled “Race to the Finish Line: Private Hire Cars Versus Taxis in Singapore“, with an overview of the current industry: Traditional Incumbents vs New Kids on the Block; Innovators and Disruptors – Uber, Grab and Friends; and about Regulations.
